MB Star DAS "Internal Error: CSD DLL not found" (fixed)

Can somebody help me? I bought the Mercedes-Benz MB SD Connect C4 diagnostic system. Then the first cat (real car) I hooked up to this is what came up.

MB Star Diagnosis SD Connect C4 1 Year Review

I purchased the SD Connect C4 unit and Dell laptop package in Nov of 2015. So far it's been used on the following vehicles.

2005 SLK350; Troubleshot the Vario Roof to a Roof Closed switch that was stuck in the closed position.
Used it on my wifes 08 ML320 CDI after an in-tank fuel pump failure and also to verify injector performance.
Used it on my Daughters 05 E320 CDI; basically got a baseline after purchasing the vehicle used.
1996 S320. Somewhat limited and not nearly as comprehensive as the later vehicles. Uses the 16 pin under hood adapter instead of the OBDII port. Vehicle belongs to a friend. Tester isolated a stalling and rough idle condition to a faulty MAF sensor.

Recently purchased an 04 W211 Wagon. Used the system to perform a pre-purhase inspection and system baseline.

All works like a champ. Setup of the SD Connect was relatively easy; took a couple of days as you will have to email the required info to MB Star and wait for morning to get the info and then email them additional info. Folks were quite friendly and helpful during the process. The only thing I might do different is I would consider ordering with the SSD (Solid State Drive). I ordered the normal drive and installed in a Dell D630 laptop.

MB Star DAS Dev. Mode transfer data from old ETC unit to new

A Mercedes owner simply made the procedure of transfer data from the old unit to the new unit, using MB Star diagnosis DAS development diagnostic software.

Device: MB STAR C3 multiplexer

Software: Xentry/DAS 2013.07

Vediamo with SCN coding database

Model: Mercedes-Benz 221.156
The extra thing have to do is:
Look at the old control unit version as shown in the picture:

Then after installing new unit and transfer all data to it, next, go to:
Development Data ==> Control unit adaptation ==> Variant coding ==> F3

Then we chose from the list the same number we got in image below

This must work as reported from many of my friends but i always do the online procedure.

First, you need to programming new vgs by Vediamo with hardware which you have in your old VGS
Then you will have your variant of coding.

MB Price List PL70 display unknown mark solution

In my case, something goes wrong in Mercedes MB Star diagnosis Price List PL70 software:

    

as you can see in the image, EWA net does not recognize the symbol for Price "€" from the lists (4 languages) and put unknown symbols instead "€". If I put a comparative list from 1.2014, EWA net recognize the "€".

I edit these 5 lists and, apparently, first line with € it is the same between them

Am I "standalone"  with this issue?

P.D. It doesn't matter the language list you choose, always appears what you have selected in EPC parts catalogue.

Solved!

Use a Tool like "notepad++" and open the price list with it.
Then go to the menubar > encoding > encode in ANSI.
After that, replace these wrong symbols with an "€" Symbol, and save it.
Now load the file again in ewa and it should work

(I have edited it with Notepad (not ++) and changed "€" by "€" but it is clear this is not sufficient; it is compulsory change it ANSI symbols "€" by "€"...)

EPC.net Internet Explorer cannot display solution

Here is the engineer solution to Mercedes-Benz MB Star diagnosis EPC.net software “Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage” solution.

Problem:

I have activated the 2016.05V EPC WIS software, but the Star diagnosis EPC.net online cannot run on IE explorer, it said “Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage”

Engineer solution:

Go to Windows Start Menu>open EWA>run EWA Admin Tool

Open Server,EPC,WIS one-by-one to check which software is not run.

Enable these 3 options.

Then restart the computer.

Run EPC.net software again.

If you had EWA Client Tools error “Application blocked by security settings” after activation, then do following settings:

Go to Control Panel->find JAVA control panel->select Security tab->manually set the security level to lowest level.

Then EPC should run without problem.

Change DAS Xentry language to French (Customer share)

Here is the customer solution to Mercedes-Benz MB Star diagnosis Xentry/DAS language change (Russian to French)...

Actually, i can't change the language of das/xentry at the beginning:
Xentry is in Russian and DAS in English
(ewa.net Russian too)

i first checked if i have the complete language pack installed, because if not i wouldn’t have all the data for other languages.

Then i was told that:

“If you right click the DAS icon on your desktop and select "properties", at the Target line you can read "-lru" where "ru" refers to Russian language. If you change this to "en" (I think gb works too), you will have DAS in English. If you want some other language, you can find the list of language codes from the forum.

A similar change would be needed for DAS SIM shortcut.”

Follow the tips, i made it.

Xentry was in Russian and now after change language in settings is in French
DAS was in English and now after change the "Iru" to "Ifr" it's in French too
It's nice too!

But in Das, i had all " é " replaced by a Russian letter i don't have in my keyboard it's look like an " N " inside out.

Checked Windows Regional settings... The keyboard was set to some Russian mode.

Now it's in French mode and it's ok

The French Xentry/DAS works like a charm!

SD Connect C4 Cannot Find Road24h Solution

Here is the solution to the Mercedes-Benz MB Star diagnosis SD Connect C4 Road24h problem when set wifi connection.

Find no where the Road24h is usually divided into 3 occasions:

Usually there are 3 when you cannot find Road24h

1.You cannot find Road24h

2.You can find Road24h but it is not compatible with the SD Connect C4.

3.It is compatible but but displays “no signal”

Possible reason:

You have not connect the MB SD C4 main unit with cables correctly.

Solution:

1. Connect the SD C4 and the car as the following picture:

2. Check if WiFi is well set or used normally. If not follow the correct instruction to set WiFi connection.
