How to Get SDConnect C4/C5 to Work Under Part W?

 MB Star diagnosis SDConnect C5 Clone (its a C4 in a C5 shell) – It works great in Xentry, connects and are fast and never fails there.

Windows 7 32 bit Ultimate Activated – Works perfectly as well and are fully updated
240gb SSD
Vediamo 4.2.2 with a good license and everything activated.
SDConnect Toolkit 2.1.13.

 

My question is: How to get Vediamo 4.2.2 to run on Part W configuration without the ToolkitApiDll.dll error and vediamo not finding your SDConnect c4/c5? Vediamo 4.2.2 has the Part W-SDconnect functionality integrated, yet when I try to use it stops detecting the SDConnect, because Vediamo doesn’t seem to want to communicate. It is not a computer to ecu error, it’s simply a computer-software error.

 

Simple question: how to get the SDConnect to work under Part W – SDConnect
And I mean Part W and not Part P-eCom.

2.1.30 SDConnect Toolkit and Dietrih’s Vediamo 4.02.02 works with part W. Just gotta try with Me21.cbf now and see if we cannot simply get vediamo to work with this “Too old” ECU.

 

Update:

Success to connecting to the ECU now! It can read fault codes, see sensor data and some more stuff. Not really been giving me in to change anything yet because I am not sure what to do yet. But this is a great step forward!

Tips on Sdconnect C4 WIS EPC activation

 I have mb Sdconnect C4 to activate code for WIS, EPC, xentry and dts Monaco, and then contacted obdii365.com engineer and they said ” You can send the activation id to calculate the password, or send it to teamviewer to activate the software for you remotely”, then they connected with teamviewer for Activation code for WIS and EPC, but for some reason hardware id changed (Lan Id is different. Probably because WiFi is on) and then Xentry doesn’t start.

 

obdii365.com engineer replied me:

Follow the steps below;

1. Delete the lic-key2.dat file under the C drive directory

(C:/Programdata/LicDir)

2. The activation code of xentry is still deactivated by the one given to you before, and then a new lic-key2.dat will be generated under the C drive directory (C:/Programdata/LicDir)
3. Copy a copy of lic-key2.dat, change the copy to a lic-key2.x4711 file, and then set the file attribute to read-only

 

Update!

Everything ok now. Xentry,Wis and Epc starts. Know i have to test the Sd connect C4 to a car.

MB SD C4 EWA Local Host Cannot be reached

 Problem:

I tried to enter local host in MB SD Connect C4 EWA software program, it failed me and reported error "This site cannot be reached"

Solution:

Press windows icon on the tool bar. Find EWA program

Right click to open EWA as administrator 

Then Started EWA server 

It will show online status if it is working.

Benz DAS “Not Accept Hardware Changes” Solution

 A Mercedes Benz Xentry DAS software user feedback: Xentry works, Das problem and this is the wrong with the DAS software “This software does not accept more hardware changes…”
