Here's the guide on how to disable AdBlue for Mercedes Benz AXOR 375.4 truck using MB Star diagnostic software DAS.

 

Preparations:

Benz DAS Diagnostic Software (older version)

MB Star SD Connect C4 multiplexer 

Benz FDOK VeDoc & Special Functions Calculator 

 

Procedures:

Note: Here test this function in the simulation mode

Connect DAS diagnostic interface to Benz truck,it is 16 pin connector

Then enter menu to select “Truck”–>”AXOR”–>”AXOR 375.4”

Select “System recognition”

Select “FR driver control”–>”Control unit adaptations”

Select “Vehicle parameter”

Select “NOx Torque limit”

Select “100% of maximum torque for vehicle”

Then it will show you

Random number:0131

ID Code:13121110

Calculation type:XT

Now run Benz FDK VeDoc calculator software,input the random number,ID code and calculation type,then you will get the two codes.

Now input the Old result:181-212-092-025

Click continue,it will show you with message below

Now AdBlue have been removed

Done!

Open ConfigAssist on desktop

Copy Hardware ID to Notepad

Open the DTS Monaco 8.13 software on desktop, it will automatically show DTS ID

Copy the ID to Notepad

Send both Hardware and DTS ID to obdii365.com customer service

We’ll send to activation file.

Open the activation file and Copy the ID inside

In ConfigAssist, select StartKey->Manual 

Paste xentry activation key here and Save

Xentry activation completed.

Open the activation zip file

Copy the files inside

Paste all these files to C/Program Files/Softing/Diagnostic Tool Set 8/8.13 to activate DTS Monaco

How to Activate 06.2020 MB Star EPC/WIS?

Open EWA on desktop

Enter User: admin and password: 12345

Copy LAN-ID here

Open CarProKey program

Select EPCnet/WISnet program

Paste LAN-ID and generate activation key for EPC WIS

Paste EPC WIS registration key

Copy and paste each into the activation box. And then Save

WIS EPC software activation completed.

Now you can connect sd c4/c5 and set IP to use.

MB Star 2020.03 EWA activation unknown id solution

Have mb star sdconnect c4 2020.03 (both SSD & HDD version), when enter ewa-net to activate, get error ” unknown id”. How to fix?

Here’s the working solution:

Enter the Device Manager, uninstall the hidden NIC driver, restart ewa-net. (If you have no idea which are the virtual network card drivers that need to be uninstalled, Find the ones with # to uninstall.

How to Virgin ME2.8 ECU and Code with MB Star DAS?

ME 2.8 ECUs are used in many Mercedes Benz models with M112/3 engines.  The old ECU is damaged. You need to make virgin (renew it) and code it by MB Star diagnostic DAS or Vediamo.

Part 1: Renew ME 2.8 with CGDI MB

Remove ME 2.8 ECU from MB (i.e a W203)

CGDI Prog MB software 3.0.2.0 adds the ME2.8 ECU wiring diagram

Follow wiring diagram to connect MB Bosch ME 2.8 ECU with CGDI

Run CGDI MB software

Select Auto Computer function
Read ECU

Get erase password

Get erase password success.

Press Erase 

Erase/Renew ECU completed

Re-Install ME 2.8 ECU back to vehicle

Part 2: Adapt ME 2.8 with DAS
Using MB Star Xentry to program a virgin ECU to an existing EIS.
Connect MB SD Connect C4 multiplexer with vehicle via OBD socket via LAN cable
Turn on ignition switch

Identify vehicle
Select Control Unit Groups-> Drive->ME2-SFI- Motor electronics-> ME-SFI 2.8-Motor electronics 2.8-> Control Unit adaptation->Learning processes

Teach in of drive authorization system

Press F1 to continue

Enter VIN as 17-digit code

Solved! OEM Benz C6 VCI DTS Monaco No License Available

Problem:
I got the WiFi OEM Benz C6 xentry VCI, but the DTS Monaco software was not working. Gave error "No Licensed hardware available.
A Monaco license was not found."
Does it require activation or something?
Does DTS Monaco work in WiFi status? How to configure WiFi for the C6 VCI?

Solution:
Does not require activation.
Connect Benz C6 VCI with laptop via USB cable rather than LAN cable.
Benz C6 VCI WiFi connection does not require special setting.
Connect C6 VCI unit with vehicle (don't connect USB cable), find c6 WiFi name, pair with password: 12345678 and Connect.

How to Enable Benz W213 Multibeam LED with DTC Monaco?

Car model: Mercedes Benz W213

Purpose: Unlocking the full functions of the multi-beam LED headlights

Why need it?

Once you’ve used it, you’ll NEED it. It’s incredible to have the high beams on in traffic and be able to see 3 to 4 cars ahead.

Best example is coming down my street behind a car, then having that car turn into a driveway with a curtain of light opening 1 foot behind it.

It is really impressive, the difference. I notice that signs on the side of the road are much more illuminated. I was on a tight left-hand sweeper on a parkway – there was a car about 200 feet in front of me and you could see the entire curve (up to the car in front).

The US and Euro headlights are the same, but the module upgrades from 608 (AUTOMATIC HIGH BEAM SWITCH) to 628 datacode (AUTOMATIC HIGH BEAM SWITCH PLUS)

here’s the difference:

on MHH auto they sell tunes for $99 + coding for $99 as well. $99 is a good price. somebody will teamviewer into your computer and do variant coding for this in 9 seconds.

Method 4: local MB aftermarket

I contacted my local MB aftermarket specialist who can also unlock the feature to its full functionality. It costs $300 Cdn + taxes or roughly $250 US.

some of the light functions in the description are already programmed. For example, my Canadian car has active light function and cornering light function, the other stuff I’m not sure on but definitely not the assist plus.

Question followed: I don’t know what differences are in the US vs. Canadian cars. Obviously the US cars are affected by those antiquated regulations (but sounds like you have some of those antiquated regulations in Canada too – otherwise we wouldn’t be having this discussion). My 2019 has high beams that auto dim and perhaps has some cornering lighting?

I’m just surprised that these functions can be activated in software via a flag/switch. I was under the impression that additional software was required. So certainly very interested to see whether this works.

Answer: It works…. I just installed my module

I have the ILS package on my USDM S213 which means
1. cornering illumination
2. automatic highbeams

Added by the module
1. more cornering illumination including vertical range in the direction of the turn (USDM is same cutoff as low beams)
2. “Boxing out” of oncoming cars/cars in front + extended beam range
3. Rain light (tested by putting water on windshield) adds illumination to the sides much like fog lights

How to Setup XUS on Xentry 03.2020 to Solve online errors?

In MB Star diagnostic Xentry 03.2020 (both Openshell and PT) it is necessary to modify the previous one slightly:

1. Make sure .NET 4.8 is installed
2. We configure in "ConfigAssist" the XUS services without the use of RDS.
3. Go to Services on Windows Control Panel, stop and disable 2 Daimler services with "....DeviceInfo" string and 1 service with "....Device Manager (Windows)" string.
4. Download TablePlus software, run and add new connection for PostgreSQL, name: xus, host: 127.0.0.1, port: leave blank, user xfernow, password: xfernow, db: xfernow
5. Choose deviceinfov2 table on left
6. Find startkeyvalid column on right, place 'true'. Replace value in devicetype column from XDOS to KIT2, replace appid to 254
7. Save changes by pressing commit button in the top-left corner
8. Restart the postgree service, it will ask us for confirmation to restart all the services that depend on which are the XUS services.


Additionally, if we do not want the KIT2 release to be downloaded, modify the following line in the xuslight_conf.json file (located in /programfiles(x86)/Mercedes-Benz Software/XentryUpdateServiceLight/config)

Doing as before and returning to XDOS or PT does not work, it is only an illusion since it has the previously downloaded catalog, but it will not update said catalog at any time.

This configuration has been successfully tested in online programming without any RDS error.

We have been able to verify that the servers have a filter by location, in some cases, the only way to achieve the download of the catalog has been through the use of a VPN to Europe, once the catalog has been downloaded it has not been necessary to continue using it.
